Description
On March 23rd and 25th of 2023, the South El Monte Art Posse hosted free portraits with community members who frequent Zamora Art Park. S. Vázquez of the Avocado Heights Vaqur@s, with support from Romeo Guzmán’s CGU graduate students, hosted a photo shoot using a Mamiya rb67 and conducted short surveys in English and Spanish. In the surveys, and in anticipation of SEMAP’s move into the Zamora Art House at Zamora Art Park, we asked community members about what they would like to see in the park and what types of activities and resources they would like SEMAP to offer.
